    Job Description

    The Healthy Families Program Administrative Assistant/Program Secretary provides clerical and date entry services. The scope of responsibilities includes typing, data entry, word processing, computer work, data compilation, ordering supplies, telephone triage, assistance with HFP billing and assistance with office management.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

      • EDUCATION: H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
        • EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years administrative/secretarial experience. Knowledge of medical terminology.
        • SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Competent in the use of office machinery (fax, copy, etc.). Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be mature, self-motivated and self-directed.
        • PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT: Frequent sitting, occasional standing & walking, and lifting of 5-10 lbs.
        • MANUAL DEXTERITY: Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate computer keyboard.
        • AUDIBLE/VISUAL DEMANDS: Requires ability to see computer screen and reports.
