  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Installation, configuration, setup and repair of computer hardware and software and printers for multi-site organization. Responsible for Imaging, Data recovery, Hardware replacement, and standard PC images. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Performs technical and mechanical repairs of computers and related equipment.
    • Provides end user support for computer software and hardware.
    • Work with System techs on Multi site projects on all related computer equipment.
    • Provides support for Windows OS.
    • Responsible for imaging.
    • Demonstrated ability to work productively and efficiently within a ticketing system. 
    • Assist in departmental assigned and approved projects as required.
    • Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
    • Record and submit accurate asset management data per IS department per policies and procedures

    Other Duties & Responsibilities

    Maintains current knowledge in field as well as current updates in the development of information technology.

    Log/document all pertinent IT/IS activity for reference.

    Performs other related essential tasks as required.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field preferred. A combination of education, skills, and experience will be considered.  

    EXPERIENCE:

     Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or 3 years of relevant work experience.

     Healthcare setting preferred.

     Technical expertise – In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software.

      Analytical skills – Ability to design solutions for the future, as well as analyze and resolve issues in the current work environment.

      Communication skills – Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with technical personnel, vendors, and end users.

      Prior IT Technical service experience is required.

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    Ability to perform typical computer skills to include upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware, operating systems, and other IS-related support functions.  Strong Knowledge of MS Windows maintenance and updates.  Working knowledge of Windows OS is required. Working knowledge of computer peripherals such as printers and scanners is required. In-depth knowledge of enterprise antivirus systems. Must possess computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills. Requires demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of business, with a strong orientation toward providing outstanding customer service. Demonstrated effective organization and project management skills are essential including the ability to manage multiple large projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills including a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Must have the ability to successfully train and lead/motivate a team as required. Must have the ability to work independently and have solid judgment and decision-making skills. The ability to work with highly confidential information is required. Must have the ability to travel as necessary and lift moderate to heavy loads of up to 70 pounds.  Must maintain pace with new technology.  Requires use of personal automobile throughout the organization locations as part of their job.
