    Job Description

    We are seeking a Sales Clerk & Brand Ambassador to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services as well as development of brand identity and advertising via marketing and social media in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Welcome and identify customer needs
    • Actively working to sell Sewing Machines, Fabric, Classes, Notions, And Accessories
    • Stay educated on current products
    • Learn & operate the Cash Register (point of sales system)
    • Develop, promote and grow social media marketing presence
    • Update & monitor website
    • Answer phones
    • Maintain store cleanliness

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Excitement for meeting and conversing with new people
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to build rapport with customers
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Aptitude in advertising and promotion
    • Experience in social media
    • Ability to carry sewing machines for customers
    • Knowledgeable in sewing, quilting, and/or embroidery (Recommended but not mandatory)
