PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Serve as part of a team that delivers the TXCPA member experience. Support the Membership, Marketing and Community team as we find new ways to grow membership, engage members and create new benefits.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Membership Acquisition
Perform proactive tactics to recruit new members and reinstate former members to grow the TXCPA membership.
Enhance information in the TXCPA database to assist with prospecting and win-back campaigns.
Membership Engagement
Assist with regular outreach to members to ensure they are aware of and using benefits of membership and to meet TXCPA retention goals.
Complete onboarding outreach to new members to welcome them to the Society and connect them to relevant benefits and services.
Perform outreach to at-risk member groups to improve retention rates and communicate value of belonging.
Assist in coordinating membership activities with Society departments, chapters and other groups to ensure accuracy and completeness of information produced.
Membership Relations and Support
Field inbound member communications, providing requested information and identifying opportunities to deliver additional value and grow our membership by consistently communicating our value proposition.
TXCPA Database
Assist in managing the membership database including account creation, data updates, dues payments, event registrations and reporting.
Input and update data with a high level of accuracy.
Examine and suggest changes to procedures as necessary to maintain the accuracy of information in the database and conduct necessary procedures to remove incorrect, incomplete or outdated data.
Adhere to TXCPA’s customer service standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years' experience as customer service representative or in a customer service role.
As with any membership position, the candidate should have excellent communication skills to provide TXCPA members with the best customer service.
Organizational skills with attention to detail.
Works well in a changing environment.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
Associates degree or higher in general business, marketing or accounting
Previous experience working with non-profit association
Proficiency with CRM software and the software currently in use by the Society.
