    Overview

    Scenthound is a revolutionary concept in the pet industry, providing dogs the care they deserve and giving dog parents a simple way to stay on top of their dog’s health.

    We are hiring a Member Services Associate for our Snellville, GA Scenter.

    You will be a key face/voice of the Scenter; personally, connecting with Dog Parents in person, via phone, text and email. You will utilize your customer service, sales, and marketing skills to support our membership sales execution.You will utilize those skills as well as utilizing your customer service skills to assist Dog Parents in booking appointments, educating them on our services and their benefits while building trusted centered relationships– driving both membership growth, retention, and overall Scenter sales.

    On occasion, you will be required to provide our Dog Members the routine care they need on a monthly basis by providing the Basic Hygiene service, which includes: Bathing, Ear Cleaning, Nail Trimming, & Teeth Brushing.

    You will be joining a team of entrepreneurs, offering a competitive hourly wage.

    Compensation:

    $18.00 per hour plus a share of tip pool providing a potential additional $4.00 to $6.00 per hour – based on performance with the customers.

    Who Are We Looking For

    We are searching for a customer-oriented individual who is hard-working, reliable, and self-motivated! A successful Member Service Associate is a team player: perceptive, patient, empathetic to others, adaptable under stress, and a compassionate dog lover! Lastly, we are looking for someone who has sales or marketing experience, excellent communication & computer skills.

    This Position Requires:

    · Strong sales and customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment – pet related or membership-based industries preferred.

    · Strong Sales experience

    · Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills

    · Proficient Computer Skills (MacOS, Microsoft Office, internet, e-mail); experience with MyTime CRM is preferred.

    · Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time

    · Willingness to patiently interact with, bathe, and assess Dogs

    · Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule

    · Reliable transportation

    · Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment

    What Will You Be Doing:

    Sales Operations Tasks

    · Reaching out to potential membership leads obtained by Digital Marketing Agency and grass roots efforts

    · Participate in Street Team Marketing Activities – handing out flyers &/or manning booths at events

    Operational Tasks

    · Greet Dog Parents and Perform Intake Procedure & Inspection – selling additional services and/or promotions – setting service time expectations with Dog Parent.

    · Escort Dog Members to/from Grooming area & Lobby.

    · Review S.C.E.N.T. Check comments from Team, review S.C.E.N.T. Check results/photos with Dog Parent and perform Outtake Procedure – including: Re-Booking appointments, selling memberships, and obtaining payment

    Marketing Tasks

    · Answer Telephone and deliver outstanding health & wellness education of Scenthound concept – scheduling Dog Members, based on previous plan history, or membership lead

    · Following up with potential membership leads obtained by Digital Marketing Agency and Walk-In clients

    · Follow up with next 1–2 day unconfirmed appointments and confirm time & service – ensuring accurate and informative customer records.

    · Participate in Street Team Marketing Activities – handing out flyers &/or manning booths at events

    · Advocate for all dogs in our care and in our community

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $18.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 20-30 per week

    Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
