Member Services Representative
This Member Service position, which is an integral part of the business, is responsible for escalated inquiries from members, pharmacies, prescribers and account contacts.
This Member Service position is responsible for:
· Providing members with accurate information regarding their prescription benefits.
· Effectively communicating with prescribers and pharmacies regarding prescription benefits, covered medications, processing issues, etc.
· Following up and resolving issues raised during these phone calls.
· Obtaining information through phone calls or letters to the Pharmacies, Accounts, Physicians’ Offices, Prescription Benefit Managers
· Conducting conference calls with multiple parties.
· Obtaining enrollment information from clients and updating information into the Membership Systems.
· Preparing reports and analysis for customers utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Requirements:
· Minimum Associates Degree required
· 3+ years’ experience in customer/member service and/or phone role (managing multiple lines)
· Healthcare, medical/pharmaceutical background
· Pharmacy Technician certified (preferred, not required)
· Excellent phone manners
· Minimum typing speed of 45-50 wpm
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Available to work a rotating schedule between the hours of 8am – 7:30pm EST, Mon-Fri
