About How to MANAGE a Small Law Firm

How to MANAGE a Small Law Firm is a fast-growing and highly entrepreneurial business management, personal development and coaching company, specializing in solo and small law firms. Inc Magazine has named How to MANAGE a Small Law Firm to its list of the 5,000 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States every year since 2015. We've also been named by Inc as one of the "Best Places To Work". We are very much a “start-up” with a fast-paced growth focused environment. Working with us can prove to be the best job you ever had or the most frustrating depending on your flexibility, team-spirit, commitment to our clients and your realistic expectations about what it's like to work in a fast-paced growing business.

    About the Role

We're looking for a Member Success Advocate to support our members and franchisees through consistent, empathetic, and organized relationship management. This is a non-sales, mission-driven role focused on trust, follow-through, and making sure no member feels overlooked.

You'll work one-on-one with members, help them navigate challenges, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure action items are completed. If you enjoy helping people feel supported, keeping systems organized, and quietly making things run smoothly, this role may be a great fit.

    What You'll Do

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned members

    • Build trusted relationships and provide calm, consistent support

    • Identify early signs of disengagement and proactively follow up

    • Track action items and ensure commitments are completed

    • Coordinate with internal teams to support member needs

    • Maintain clear documentation and follow established workflows

    • Share insights and updates with leadership

    What We're Looking For

    • High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills

    • Process-oriented with excellent follow-through

    • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

    • Calm and steady in emotionally sensitive situations

    • Detail-oriented and protective of quality and accuracy

    • Experience in customer success, member support, account management, or service-oriented roles

    What This Role Is Not

    • Not a sales or quota-driven role

    • Not a high-pressure or “always-on” environment

    • Not a role for someone who dislikes structure or follow-through

    Why Join Us

You'll be part of a low-drama, high-integrity team where your consistency, care, and attention to detail truly matter. This role offers stability, purpose, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in members' experiences—without sales pressure.
