About the Role:
Chagrin Valley Racquet Club is looking for a dynamic and personable Membership Director to join our team in beautiful Chagrin Falls, OH. In this key leadership role, you'll be the face of our club — driving membership growth, building lasting relationships, and creating an exceptional experience for members old and new. Responsibilities:
Lead all membership sales efforts, including prospecting, tours, and new member onboarding
Develop and execute membership retention strategies to maximize engagement and reduce attrition
Build and maintain strong relationships with current members to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Plan and coordinate member events, promotions, and outreach initiatives
Track and analyze membership data, trends, and KPIs to inform growth strategies
Collaborate with club staff and management to deliver a seamless member experience
Represent the club at community events and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in membership sales, club management, or a related field
Proven track record in sales, business development, or customer relationship management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in CRM software and membership management platforms preferred
Passion for racquet sports, fitness, or the private club industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred
