Job description:
Overview We are seeking a high-energy, competitive Membership Sales Specialist to drive subscription growth for our Urgent Care and Occupational Health centers. If you have smashed quotas selling gym memberships, cell phone plans, or retail subscriptions and want to transition your skills into a professional medical environment with better hours, this is your move.
In this role, you will manage a dual-track, high-volume sales territory spanning Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Simi Valley, and Moorpark. You will treat local small business owners (10–15 employees) and uninsured families like retail membership buyers—using high-velocity outbound calls, local ground marketing, and a structured sales script to sell affordable annual healthcare subscription plans.
Responsibilities
B2B Small Business Hunting: Execute 40+ outbound dials daily and conduct targeted physical drop-ins to business parks, retail centers, and small offices across Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Simi Valley, and Moorpark to pitch annual employee health packages to owners.
B2C Family Subscription Sales: Drive direct-to-consumer membership enrollment by identifying and marketing to uninsured or high-deductible families across the community who need affordable, immediate access to urgent care.
Local Ground Hustle: Represent the clinic at local community events, street fairs, business expos, and neighborhood hubs throughout the territory to generate warm lead lists of families and small business owners.
The Close: Present a simple, laminated 2-choice pricing matrix to prospects, overcoming standard objections regarding insurance or cost, and closing them on annual auto-debit membership plans on the spot.
Script Discipline: Memorize, adapt, and flawlessly execute our standardized sales tracks and rebuttals to maintain a high closing percentage.
Qualifications
Ideal backgrounds: Big-box gym membership sales (Equinox, LA Fitness, OrangeTheory), wireless retail consultants (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile), or subscription-based retail.
The Right Mindset: No corporate B2B pedigree or healthcare experience required. You just need grit, high energy, a thick skin for cold outreach, and the motivation to hunt for commission.
Fast-Paced Closer: Comfortable with short, transactional sales cycles rather than long, drawn-out corporate negotiations.
Local Market Mobility: Must have a reliable vehicle for daily outside outreach, business drop-ins, and community marketing across the Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Simi Valley, and Moorpark region.
