    Position Summary: The Patient Accounting Solution Analyst II will be responsible for resolving help desk issues related to the Revenue Cycle applications within Cerner in a timely manner. The Patient Accounting Solution Analyst II supports the technical build and maintenance for the Revenue Cycle in Cerner, our electronic medical records software. The Patient Accounting Solution Analyst ll partners with the Product Owner to meet the business needs of Rogers.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Determines how to deliver value for the RBH Revenue Cycle digital ecosystem.
    • Provide experience and expertise with and able to consult on any/all Model workflows applicable to the Rogers Behavioral Health, including but not limited to, Experian, pre-billing claims workflows, claims follow up workflows including denial management, cash posting workflows.
    • Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of any configuration tools for desired outcomes in the Cerner Patient Accounting space, including PFT tools, ProFit Claim Manager, ProFit Business Manager, and RevCycle Maintenance as it relates to design and build.
    • Contributes to the cross-functionality of the Development Team through expanding knowledge across all Revenue Cycle technical solutions, including but not limited to registration and scheduling build.
    • Independently researches and recommends new code updates and packages impacting application content and functionality.
    • Demonstrates effective systems analysis skills by ensuring appropriate technical requirements are determined to meet the value desired in all Epics, Features, and Stories.
    • Contributes to the design and implementation of application and technology solutions through demonstrated advanced-level proficiency in maintenance, functionality and workflows of related applications including cross-functional integration points.
    • Consults peers and provides feedback on the quality of build designs through the designated standard work.
    • Consults on best standards for current and future technical designs.
    • Actively engages in all Agile Team and ART events including by not limited to, daily standups, sprint plans, refinements, retrospectives, and reviews.
    • Supports the continuous improvement of team processes and solution delivery cycle through identifying barriers to work and problem-solving for them or escalating where appropriate.
    • Triages Revenue Cycle related helpdesk tickets and addresses all issues in a timely manner.
    • Provides excellent customer service to stakeholders
    • Follows all on-call standard work, including but not limited to sign-up processes, response timeliness, and after-hours escalation standards.
    • Assists in mentoring and training new analysts in application solution design and maintenance well as current workflows and processes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, or business field or equivalent experience required
    • Minimum of 2+ years in Cerner Patient Accounting and related workflows or equivalent training required
    • Minimum of 2+ years of electronic medical record software experience with Cerner or equivalent training required
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft® Office Products
    • Certified Rev Cycle Representative (CRCR) is preferred.
    • 1+ years of experience working in an Agile/Lean environment preferred
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
    • Self-starter attitude; comfortable with working collaboratively but managing work independently.

    Location:

    • Position is remote.
    • The candidate must live in one the following states: WI, CA, GA, FL, MN, IL, CO, PA, TN, or WA
