    SIGN-ON BONUS up to $5,000!! $25-$35 per hour plus shift differentials - Monday thru Thursday 7pm-7am: $5.00. Friday 7pm thru Monday 7am: $10.00. When working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, shift differentials stack for a total of $15.00. Memorial Health University Medical Center is a 612-bed HCA healthcare facility in Savannah, Georgia. MED/SURG RN: Shift: Days/Nights, rotate weekends - 7A-7P OR 7P-7A (ROTATING SELF SCHEDULING) Job Summary/Duties: The Med/Surg RN is responsible to the Nursing Director/Charge Nurse for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. Apply your nursing knowledge derived from education and experience as foundation for patient care, communication, and documentation on the unit. Essential Core Functions: - Provide quality patient care, in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and department. - Maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community. - Prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided to assigned patients and is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care. Qualifications Education - A graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required - a Diploma Program in Nursing, an Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Licensure/Certification/Registration: - An active State of Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) License is required - A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required Experience/ Skills: - 1-2 years acute care experience required ICU RN: Shift: Full-time Days & Nights/Rotate Weekends Job Summary/Duties The Registered Nurse (RN) works in collaboration with other members of the health care team to protect, promote and optimize health and ability, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocate in the care of individuals and families. The Registered Nurse incorporates creative factors from Watson's theory into his/her practice. The RN practices in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, Georgia Nurse Practice Act, Professional Standards, Code of Ethics for Nursing, and the institution's nursing philosophy, Professional Practice Model. The Registered Nurse complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.
