    Job Description

    Regional Memory Care Support Coordinator

    Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000 Yearly

    Position Summary:
    The Regional Memory Care Support Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support for all Memory Care programs across Monarch’s portfolio of communities. This role ensures consistency, quality, and compliance in the delivery of memory care services, while fostering an engaging and person-centered environment for residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

    This position involves regular travel to Monarch communities to provide hands-on support, staff training, and leadership coverage as needed. The Regional Memory Care Support Coordinator serves as a resource and mentor to community Memory Care Program Directors and plays a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing new team members and will report to the Regional Director of Life Enrichment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership & Oversight * Ensure the consistent implementation of Monarch’s Memory Care philosophy, standards, and programming across all communities. * Provide interim on-site leadership coverage in the absence of a Memory Care Program Director or during transitions. * Monitor and assess community performance to ensure programs meet or exceed quality and engagement goals.
    • Training & Development * Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and professional development for Memory Care Program Directors and frontline team members. * Support onboarding of new Memory Care Directors and assist in the development of individualized success plans. * Facilitate educational sessions on best practices in dementia care, person-centered engagement, and behavioral support.
    • Recruitment & Onboarding * Partner with Operations and Human Resources to interview, hire, and onboard Memory Care Program Directors across the portfolio. * Identify and mentor potential internal talent for growth within the Memory Care leadership pipeline.
    • Program Support & Innovation * Evaluate existing programs and make recommendations for improvement based on resident needs and current dementia care research. * Collaborate with community teams to ensure meaningful engagement and purposeful activities are integrated throughout each day. * Support the creation and maintenance of safe, therapeutic, and enriching environments for residents.
    • Compliance & Quality Assurance * Ensure all Memory Care programs adhere to Monarch policies, state regulations, and best practice standards. * Conduct audits/mock surveys/quality improvement visits, review documentation, and follow up on corrective actions as needed. * Partner with nursing and operations leadership to ensure continuity of care and effective communication across departments.
    • Family & Community Engagement * Support communities in building strong relationships with families and providing ongoing education and communication. * Represent the company’s Memory Care initiatives at community events and professional conferences as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Health Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, Psychology, or related field.
    • Certified Dementia Practitioner required and CADDCT preferred.
    • Leadership experience in senior living, dementia care, or related healthcare setting.
    • Proven experience in training, mentoring, and leading multi-site teams.
    • Strong knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia care practices, including engagement programming and behavioral management.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Monarch portfolio and provide on-site support as needed.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
