Position Overview: Provide strength-based short-term and solution-focused counseling interventions for children, adolescents, and adult members, caregivers, and/or adult members receiving services. Provides individual, family, and group interventions to address needs identified by the member. Provides crisis interventions and clinical consultation for Modern Wellness Psychotherapy Healing. Responsibilities: • Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient • Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care • Provides clinical/therapeutic interventions with children, adolescents, and/or adults receiving services in accordance with current best practices for the identified need • Provides group counseling modalities • Completes documentation of all services provided in accordance with Modern Wellness policy • Completes intakes and assessments for patients • Designs and implements treatment plans addressing members' needs • Ensures confidentiality of verbal and written recipient information, in accordance with HIPAA standards and Modern Wellness Psychotherapy Healing policy • Adheres to the legal/ethical/professional guidelines adopted by Modern Wellness Psychotherapy Healing • Adheres to legal/ethical/professional guidelines by the American Counseling Association or other professional affiliation • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist • Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required • Current and Active License with the AZBBHE and in good standing • Thorough and working knowledge of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders is imperative • Knowledge of the most recent DSM/ICD 10 codes and descriptions, psychotropic medication, and crisis interventions • Requires effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • The ability to follow directions, use sound judgment, and have excellent time management skills is essential. • Must maintain good member relationships, and be able to identify priorities and stay organized • Knowledge of behavioral health services. Excellent problem-solving skills; excellent customer service skills Must Meet the following: • Master’s Degree in a field related to behavioral health (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, substance abuse) • Associate or independent-level licensure with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners • Must be at least 21 years of age Compensation: $64,500 - $80,000 yearly
