We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. Responsibilities: • Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care • Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient • Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members • Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties • Provide one-on-one therapy to clients of your choosing • Conduct thorough assessments using medical records, interviews, observations, and collaboration with team members to determine client mental health status • Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives • Provide follow-up care, crisis intervention when necessary, and consistent communication with referral sources • Complete timely documentation—notes must be submitted within 24 hours • Respond promptly to referrals and maintain professional, dependable attendance (frequent cancellations send the wrong message to those in need) • Maintain clinical boundaries and adhere to ethical standards • Actively participate in our team culture of empowerment, support, and collaboration Qualifications: • This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are needed • Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications • Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required • Active PA licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, LSW, LAPC) • Strong clinical skills and ethical standards • Reliable, compassionate, and self-motivated • Excellent written and verbal communication • Minimum of 3-5 years of working with mental health patients is required • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000
