We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team in either our Mankato or Rochester, MN office.
Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to clients with a range of mental health concerns
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients
Conduct intake assessments and ongoing evaluations
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and ethical standards
Participate in team consultations and collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive care
Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education in the mental health field
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries in all interactions
Support and promote North Counseling's inclusive, respectful, and client-centered values
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
Active Minnesota licensure (LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, or LP) or license-eligible status
Clinical experience providing therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, and/or life transitions
Strong interpersonal skills and cultural humility
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficiency with clinical documentation and basic technology use (e.g., EHR systems)
Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities
Bilingual or multilingual skills (a plus)
