With offices in Mankato and Rochester, Minnesota, our dedicated team of mental health professionals works collaboratively to create a safe, inclusive, and healing environment for our clients. We are passionate about helping people find hope, resilience, and meaningful change.

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team in either our Mankato or Rochester, MN office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to clients with a range of mental health concerns

    • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients

    • Conduct intake assessments and ongoing evaluations

    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and ethical standards

    • Participate in team consultations and collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive care

    • Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education in the mental health field

    • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries in all interactions

    • Support and promote North Counseling's inclusive, respectful, and client-centered values

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

    • Active Minnesota licensure (LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, or LP) or license-eligible status

    • Clinical experience providing therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, and/or life transitions

    • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural humility

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

    • Excellent time management and organizational skills

    • Proficiency with clinical documentation and basic technology use (e.g., EHR systems)

    • Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities

    • Bilingual or multilingual skills (a plus)
