Remote — New York licensure required; additional compensation for dual NY/NJ licensure Employment type: W-2, Full-Time Compensation: Starting at $40/hr (clinical) | $20/hr (admin & community engagement) Most therapy practices treat financial stress as background noise. At Honest Hour, we treat it as clinical material. We're hiring a full-time Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our financial therapy track — a dedicated pathway for clinicians who believe that money, identity, and emotional well-being are deeply connected and want to build a practice that reflects that. This isn't a financial coaching role. You'll carry a full general therapy caseload while developing a specialization in the intersection of mental health and financial wellness — with direct mentorship from a Certified Financial Social Worker and up to $700 in training support in your first year to pursue your CFSW credential. If you've already taken coursework in financial therapy, or you're simply drawn to this work and ready to grow into it, we want to hear from you. WHO WE SERVE Honest Hour provides virtual therapy for adults across New York and New Jersey who are ready to do the deeper work — emotionally, relationally, and financially. Clients are often: • First-generation professionals navigating money guilt, burnout, or identity conflict • BIPOC individuals unlearning scarcity mindsets while building wealth and stability • High-achieving caregivers and helpers who carry financial stress alongside emotional weight • Millennials and Gen Xers managing anxiety, career transitions, and complicated money narratives • Adults who want honest, culturally grounded support that connects their emotional lives to their financial ones We practice therapy that is practical, compassionate, and real — helping clients heal emotional wounds, rewrite money stories, and build lives that actually feel good to live.
