Job Summary

We are seeking a Virginia State Certified Qualified Mental Health Professionals for Adults (QMHP-A) or Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC) to join our team! In this role, you will conduct individual Skills Building sessions with adults in the community, and create individualized treatment plans. If you are a certified counselor who wants to make a difference in your community and your clients' lives, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Perform Individual Sessions

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to guide skills building activities

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan

Perform regular wellness checks

Adhere to all agency and licensing standards

Qualifications (minimal)

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar human services field

Current and unrestricted Virginia State Certification as QMHP-A or CSAC

Previous experience as a behavioral health counselor preferred

Valid Virginia Drivers License and Insurance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized
