Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid – Clinic & Community Settings) Organization: United And Guided (UAG) Salary Range: $78,000 – $88,000 annually (DOE) Schedule: Full-time
Position Summary
United And Guided is seeking a compassionate, creative Mental Health Specialist to join our Dyadic Care and Family Resilience Program. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or LMFT experienced in trauma-informed, family-centered mental health.
You’ll work alongside an LCSW (Dyadic Care Director), Licensed Midwife, and multidisciplinary team to deliver dyadic therapy, parenting education, and behavioral health support for caregivers and children ages 0–5.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct Dyadic Behavioral Health and family therapy sessions.
Provide co-parenting counseling, psychoeducation, and group sessions.
Support families experiencing postpartum depression, trauma, or family stress.
Collaborate with CHWs and doulas for case coordination and referrals.
Maintain compliance with Medi-Cal documentation and data tracking.
Participate in outreach events, baby showers, and community workshops.
Qualifications
Active California LPCC or LMFT license.
2+ years clinical experience in family therapy or perinatal mental health.
Knowledge of CalAIM, Medi-Cal documentation, and trauma-informed practices.
Ability to work collaboratively in community and home-based settings.
