    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY The Program Supervisor acts as a member of a multidisciplinary team and directly provides services to clients.  In addition, the Program Supervisor assists the Program Manager in establishing, administering, and directing the ACT program.  The Program Supervisor demonstrates a strong working knowledge of best practices in Assertive Community Treatment, case management, bio-psychosocial rehabilitation, and recovery, and CCISC principles of integrated services for co-occurring disorders.  The bulk of services are provided in the community.

    RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model and the Full-Service Partnership (FSP) model associated with the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA). Each of these models provides services available 24 hours per day,365 days per year, doing "Whatever It Takes". • As a member of direct services team, provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients. • Assist Program Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations. • Directly supervise Facilitators, Case Managers, and Counselors to include selection, scheduling, assessing performance, coaching, and imposing disciplinary action. • Oversee program outreach and recruitment. • Coordinate and manage agency referrals and referral process for clients. Assist and provide referrals to people/their family members who do not meet program criteria by referring to crisis line, other agencies/community partners or their Health Plan provider. • Available for crisis consultation 24/7. • Support program in designing and evaluating outcome tools to evaluate program effectiveness. • Provide case consultation, supervision, and coaching to clinical staff as needed. • Provide required documentation and reports, both clinical and administrative. • Attend Eligibility and Enrollment meetings and other appropriate community, agency meetings and task forces. • Oversee and facilitate trainings for staff. Manage training log to ensure timely facilitation of required CEUs and annual trainings. • Complies with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science and at least four years’ experience providing clinical services to individuals with mental illness. OR • A Master’s degree in a behavioral science and at least three years’ experience providing clinical services to individuals preferred. Licensed or license eligible preferred. • Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements • Proficient with Microsoft Office and EHR software
