    JOB SUMMARY Support the program finance function by managing the financial planning, analytics, and cost accounting associated with various projects.

    RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Responsible for more complex program assignment. • Train new team members on processes and tasks. • Plan and lead team trainings/meetings. • Lead, maintain, and develop efficiencies for processes and procedures • Maintain and carry out the PFM Mentorship Program • Mentor assigned team member(s). • Maintain the New Hire Binder. • Analyzes cost and production data to communicate results to Program Managers and Vice Presidents. • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and production. • Develops, reviews and tracks all program budget information ensuring contract compliance. • Responsible for preparing and processing adjusting journal entries when necessary. • Creates templates and spreadsheets as necessary to facilitate data collection and accurate data presentation. • Produces monthly contract reimbursement claims for submission to contracting authority for payment of contract funds. • Responsible for fiscal audit compliance and assisting in the preparation of audit responses. • Responds to fiscal questions from program staff, Executive Management and contracting agency personnel. • Develops and maintains effective liaison with assigned contract monitor and Division/Program personnel • Coordinates with MHS Cash Management and funding agency personnel to ensure proper posting of cash receipts and timely payment. • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data. • Comply with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS • A minimum of 3 years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience. • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. • Advanced MS Excel skills, including experience with lookup functions, pivot tables, and macros. • Basic knowledge of Accounting Information Systems, preferably MS Great Plains. • Advanced MS Windows-based operating system skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Very organized, with ability to manage various subsequent projects in a fast-paced environment. • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and the main elements and drivers of the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. • Ability to problem solve and react appropriately to emergency situations • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team
