The Mental Health Technician is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and provides support for the patient's therapeutic treatment plan. The Mental Health Technician works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/LPN and provides personal hygiene, hair care, oral care, feeding, bathing, bed making, and assists patients with ambulation and elimination.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum one-year of experience in patient care in a therapeutic mental health setting is preferred.
• 3-6 months experience with direct care of the elderly, preferred.
