Key Responsibilities:
Provide Evidence-Based Psychotherapy: Deliver high-quality individual and/or family therapy, tailoring techniques to address a wide array of mental health challenges for diverse populations.
Conduct Comprehensive Clinical Care: Perform assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and collaborate with clients to develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans.
Maintain Clinical Excellence: Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, assessments) in accordance with state and agency guidelines.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care and treatment goals
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Participate in Mentorship: Actively engage in weekly clinical supervision and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused team environment. (Board approved supervision is included at no additional cost)
Requirements:
Valid and Active NJ License: LSW or LAC (required)
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Experience providing individual psychotherapy in a clinical setting
Proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care
Strong clinical documentation and case management skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid (remote/in-person) environment
Compassionate, client-centered approach with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be available to work min 35 hours a week, open to hybrid option
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience at mental health outpatient clinic
Bilingual (Please specify language(s) when you apply)
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong rapport and a safe therapeutic alliance with clients.
Reliable with unwavering dedication to ethical practices and strict adherence to client confidentiality regulations.
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, with opportunities for evening and/or weekend hours to meet client needs.
