    Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises.     Responsibilities Oasis of Hope Therapy, LLC is a privately owned company providing outpatient Mental Health Counseling in Lake City, FL. Our providers are independent contractors who collaborate on best practices and follow the standards set forward by their licensing board.

    We are currently looking for licensed or master's level clinicians to:

    -Provide Direct Client Care in the office (Lake City or Live Oak), Online, and in the schools (Columbia and/or Suwannee County)

    • Make your own schedule to accommodate the referrals generated by the company

    • LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT; registered clinical interns - able to bill insurances or accept direct payment

    • Must be able to pass a background screen consistent with DCF and School Board standards.

    • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans individually and under the supervision of clinical director

    • Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and/or groups

    • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality

    • Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals

    • Collaborate with referral sources to support clients with mental health needs in educational settings

    • Assist in diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans

    -Must maintain 20-25 clinical hours weekly.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience working in a mental health setting or related field
    • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
