Our practice provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive care to adolescents and adults through a collaborative, whole-person approach. Our clinical model blends psychotherapy with somatic, mindfulness, nervous system, and experiential approaches. We serve individuals seeking deeper healing from trauma, anxiety, and relational challenges using evidence-based and integrative methods. Our practice also includes a 550-square-foot movement studio, which allows clinicians to incorporate body-based approaches into their work. This space supports somatic practices, breathwork, mindfulness experiences, and movement-based therapeutic interventions. We are seeking experienced clinicians who are comfortable integrating trauma-informed and mind-body approaches into psychotherapy. Position Overview Soar Therapy & Integrated Wellness is seeking an experienced contract clinician to provide psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults. This position is available as either part-time or full-time contract work. Clinicians maintain a flexible schedule while working within a collaborative clinical environment that values professionalism, reliability, and high-quality care. This role is hybrid, with a minimum of two in-person days per week required. Office space is currently available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Contract clinicians are expected to maintain a consistent caseload. Part-time clinicians typically maintain approximately 16–18 clients per week. Full-time clinicians typically maintain approximately 22–25 clients per week. Clinicians generally schedule slightly above these targets to account for cancellations and maintain continuity of care. Clinical Training Required Applicants must have training and experience in trauma-informed care and at least several of the following approaches: • EMDR • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) • Internal Family Systems (IFS) • Somatic or body-based therapeutic approaches • Integrative trauma treatment Clinicians with experience in yoga-informed therapy, breathwork, mindfulness practices, or movement-based therapeutic work are strongly encouraged to apply. Compensation: $60 -$70 per session Work Location: Hybrid remote in Springfield, VA 22151 Contract clinicians are responsible for their own taxes and professional liability (malpractice) insurance. Responsibilities: Clinical Duties Contract clinicians will: • Provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults • Maintain a consistent weekly caseload • Maintain documentation in the practice EHR system • Submit clinical documentation within 48 hours of sessions • Develop and maintain treatment plans with measurable goals • Use appropriate diagnostic and medical necessity language for insurance billing • Maintain organized schedules and client records • Uphold ethical, HIPAA, and licensure standards Clinicians may incorporate somatic, mindfulness, breathwork, or movement-based approaches as clinically appropriate, including utilizing the movement studio when relevant. Qualifications: Required • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience working with adults to be considered for this position • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field • Active Virginia LPC, LCSW, or equivalent independent clinical license • Experience working with adolescents and adults • Ability to work in person at least two days per week • Strong reliability, organization, and follow-through • Experience working in an insurance-based practice environment Compensation: $60 - $70 hourly
