We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients, as well as a current LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) license. Responsibilities: • Refer patients and family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary • Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients • Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care • Conduct intakes, provide therapy, and manage treatment plans. • Coordinate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and colleagues for integrated care. Qualifications: • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy. • Working toward licensure or fully licensed (PsyD, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAPC, MFT, LSW, Art Therapist, CRC). • Commitment to eight evening hours per week (mix of late nights and earlier days). Compensation: $40 - $60 hourly
