Urgent BMWIT needs a mental health and wellness chiropractor will diagnoses and treats neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. They blend traditional spinal adjustments and physical therapies with holistic lifestyle, nutritional, and ergonomic counseling to improve physical function, alleviate pain, and enhances the overall mental and physical well-being of their patients. You must licensed in Oregon and WA state or willing to get your license in OR or WA need both You will be working in between both location and will be able to provide telehealth. Can not be out of state
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment: Review medical histories, conduct orthopedic and neurological exams, and use diagnostic tools like X-rays to develop individualized treatment plans.
Chiropractic Care: Perform precise, hands-on spinal manipulations, joint adjustments, and soft tissue manual therapies.
Integrative Therapies: Administer supplementary treatments such as heat or cold therapy, massage, and stretching exercises.
Lifestyle & Wellness Education: Counsel patients on diet, nutrition, posture, fitness, and ergonomics to empower long-term, preventative health.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain detailed, compliant patient case histories and treatment notes.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Refer patients to other medical doctors or specialists when necessary and work alongside allied health professionals (like mental health therapists).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Degree & Licensing: A Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution, an active state license, and malpractice insurance.
Anatomical & Diagnostic Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of biomechanics, neurology, and the neuromusculoskeletal system.
Manual Dexterity: Excellent fine motor skills for precise physical adjustments.
Interpersonal Abilities: Strong active listening, empathy, and communication skills to effectively educate and engage patients.
Work Environment
These professionals typically practice in outpatient settings such as multidisciplinary healthcare clinics, wellness centers, physical therapy centers, or gyms. They often work closely with teams that may include massage therapists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, whole-body care
