    MentorWorks Education Capital, a workforce development company, is looking for a ERP Business Analyst-Developer to join one of our employer partners. Candidates will be screened by the MentorWorks team. If selected, the candidate will move on in the process to our employment partner.

    Our client company has been producing precision resonators, oscillators and filters for over fifty-five years and designs and manufactures these solutions for data timing and radio frequency spectrum control in high reliability and harsh environment applications. The company is based in Central Florida with manufacturing in the United States and India and is vertically integrated with deep experience in basic material science, design and manufacturing. With AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 certification the company provides sales and support worldwide and is a recognized service leader supporting innovation and reliability at major OEMs including Raytheon, L3, Harris, Rockwell Collins, Garmin and nearly 2,000 smaller clients through distribution partners.

    The company has an immediate need for an ERP Business Analyst with a solid knowledge of Dynamics AX 2009 for a direct hire position.

    Job Description

    As an ERP Business Analyst-Developer, you will make an impact in our company by acting as a trusted subject matter expert (SME) in core Microsoft ERP system (AX2009) and be a leader in our transition to Dynamics 365. The ERP Business Analyst-Developer will enable the company to achieve more by improving reporting, incorporating more business-driven features, advancing operations, and enabling data-driven decisions.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Develops, tests, and implements changes to the ERP system in coordination with business users utilizing a defined change management process.

    2. Develops and writes systems and applications documentation.

    3. Implements security procedures and tools to ensure security measures are in place.

    4. Monitors performance and maintains applications.

    5. Determines system problems and coordinates hardware and/or software solutions.

    6. Troubleshoots issues and outages and serve as point-of contact.

    7. Coordinates with application vendors, managed support vendors and business partners regarding upgrades and releases and test appropriately

    8. May need to administer third party applications.

    9. Provides oral and written status reports.

    10. Reports to and coordinates with the IT Director and business process owners on tasks and projects

    11. Acts as an in-house information systems expert and primary technical point-of-contact for the ERP system.

    12. Stays current on IT security trends and news and participates on Cyber Security Risk Committee.

    Education, Experience and Training:

    1. BS / BA preferred; Consideration will be given to other academic credentials and industry certifications if bachelor's degree is in progress and graduation is expected within 2 years.

    2. At least 3-5 years of progressive AX administration and development experience and proficient in tasks such as, analyzing log files, setting up system workflows, creating reports and adding fields.

    3. Be fluent in Microsoft ERP solutions with 3-5 years of Microsoft AX 2009, 2012 and some familiarity with Dynamics365 and technical experience with intimate knowledge of Production, Sales, and Accounting modules.

    4. Experience with installing and upgrading the AX application suite required.

    5. Proficiency with the MorphX programming language

    6. Experience with BI tools, analytics, and relational database querying (SQL).

    7. API integration and development experience (ERP, BlueStar PDM, CRM).

    8. Able to participate and support in the implementation of business and software solutions within a particular module/business area.

    9. Able to partner with business managers and users to identify business requirements, ensure compliance and effectiveness of current and future systems.

    10. Able to develop strategies to improve timeliness of information delivery and overall efficiency.

    11. Able to perform post-implementation review analysis.
