    Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Works closely with engineering team developing programs to provide feedback.
    • Understand and modify CNC programs with multiple axis and operate the mills & lathes (Haas)
    • Interpret DoD / Aerospace drawings for prototyping and fixtures
    • Utilize standards to make tooling and cutting choices applying appropriate tolerances
    • Some knowledge of Kaizen 5S to continue optimization of shop processes
    • Improve set up time and develop efficiencies on the shop floor
    • Works with internal drafting team to have drawings corrected and modified as necessary
    • First inspection pass to ensure dimensional and aesthetics quality processes are adhered prior to first article
    • Knowledge of machine equipment and measuring tools in order to complete Non-CNC processes
    • Maintains equipment as needed by completing regular preventative maintenance
    • Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Firm grasp of GD&T
    • Experience with Aerospace drawings
    • Works well with others
    • Able to communicate effectively with others and understand verbal and written instructions
    • Self-motivated
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

    Education, Experience, & Training:

    • High School or GED
    • Technical or Vocation education a plus
    • 2 or more years of working in job shop environment
