    Sales Development Representative (SDR)

    ****MentorWorks Education Capital, a workforce development company, is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join one of our employer partners. Candidates will be screened by the MentorWorks team. If selected, the candidate will move on in the process to our employment partner.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate new, high-quality sales qualified prospects. Prospect via phone, email, and other methods to get qualified leads for a pipeline.
    • Convert prospects into potential customers via telephone and email.
    • Proactively identify, contact, and cultivate new business opportunities while conducting high-level conversations with key buying personas; uncover business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities for our line of plastic bag sealing solutions.
    • Handle inbound customer inquiries across all channels {email, phone, chat).
    • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
    • Manage the CRM system.

    Required experience and skills (MUST HAVE):

    • B2B sales (businesses to business).
    • Feel comfortable doing cold calls {including video cold calls and video prospecting).
    • Intermediate CRM experience (very important, no basic training will be provided). Candidate needs to demonstrate that possess experience using CRM systems: managing leads, prospecting, maintaining notes, deals management, sales process, sales funnel, etc. CRM systems like Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
    • Microsoft Office.
    • Video conferencing software {Zoom, Teams, etc.)
    • Teamwork.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and telephone etiquette.
    • Quick, efficient computer skills. Tech savvy.
    • Ability to be autonomous, adaptable, and readily available to fulfill multiple tasks.
    • Very organized.

    Preferable:

    • Experience on video prospecting apps like Vidyard, Dubb, Loom, etc.

    Standard work hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Benefits include: PTO, Health Insurance.

    Pay: $45,000 - $50,000 plus commission.

    Must have permanent US work authorization. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
