Position Summary:

The Millwright/Rigging Trainee will be an integral part of the team responsible for repairs, installations, and transportation of industrial and mechanical machinery and equipment, including large motors, pumps, compressors, switchgears, transformers, circuit breakers, and controls. They will also contribute to the construction and installation of equipment and conveyors for rigging purposes and assist in the review and repair of defective machine parts using appropriate tools, including micrometers and welders. Comprehensive training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the repair, installation, and transportation of industrial and mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Support the construction and installation of equipment and conveyors for rigging tasks.
• Aid in the review and repair of defective machine parts under the guidance of experienced technicians, utilizing appropriate tools such as micrometers and welders.
• Learn and apply best practices in industrial maintenance and rigging techniques.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Demonstrate eagerness and commitment to learning new skills and techniques.

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to personal and professional development.
• Enthusiasm for hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and rigging.
