Position Summary:
The Coordinator for Real Estate, Insurance and Marketing is responsible for managing our residential rental properties, corporate marketing and corporate insurance program. This position reports to and assists the President.
Responsibilities include:
Property management:
- Monitor, collect, and record property rents
- Ensure real estate taxes are paid
- Post available rental properties on social media and rent platforms
- Interface with tenants and handle problems
- Assist with monthly property maintenance tasks such as sweeping, collecting laundry coins and providing entry to repairmen.
- Other tasks as needed or assigned
Insurance and Compliance:
- Handle all insurance intake reporting (online) for incidents and accidents
- Manage and monitor claims
- Ensure annual insurance tasks are completed and reports filed
- Ensure annual licensing and registrations are completed
Marketing:
Regularly post rentals or corporate\project news on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
Make edits and updates to WordPress websites
Create a monthly newsletter and distribute
Administrative:
- Assist President, as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with property management or multi-family real estate
- Knowledge and experience with social media
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel (required)
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Ability to handle difficult situations and people
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Captive insurance programs - preferred
