    Job Description

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Mercaso.com is a next-generation B2B marketplace for fast-moving consumer goods (convenience and household items) serving the needs of over 1000 convenience stores, mini-marts, liquor stores, gas stations and restaurants in the Greater Los Angeles area. We are backed by leading venture capital firms and aim to bring supply chain and mobile commerce innovation to empower small and independent store owners. We are currently seeking an inside / outside sales representative who is goal-driven, loves a fast-paced environment, wants to make a positive difference and is looking to grow their career exponentially.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-5+ years of proven track record working as an Account or Sales Representative and leading directly Key Accounts or Third-party relationships
    • Experience serving convenience, beverage, CPG, restaurant accounts strongly preferred (but not required given right culture and skillset)
    • Bi-lingual language skills a plus (Spanish, Korean, other)
    • Proficiency in software & technology (including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, WMS, RF Scanner)
    • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to persuasively communicate recommendations and efficiently champion customer needs
    • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, and get in the weeds with our highest value partners
    • Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and sales skills
    • Strong critical thinking abilities
    • High School Diploma or GED

    RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to)

    • Develop existing business by increasing volume, sku count, and purchase frequency
    • Source new business through store visits and customer calls; Must be comfortable converting cold leads to customers
    • Maintain excellent relationships with customers and be responsive to customers’ needs
    • Collaborate with Merchandising and Operations teams to ensure alignment and proper execution
    • Leverage systems, processes, and best practices to effectively sell in products
    • Demonstrate the use of our website & app features to customers
    • Achieve observable results and continuous improvements despite challenges and setbacks. Take great care of the work to ensure all aspects of work are completed accurately and on time
    • Demonstrate achievement in partner management and consistently exceeding critical metrics, revenue targets, and company goals
    • Provide timely feedback from the field to senior management and team members to ensure any issues are addressed in an expedited manner

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS Job Type: Part Time or Full Time Supplemental Pay Type: Commission pay, plus mileage and expense reimbursement Schedule: Customers’ operating hours (Flexible and can vary from week to week) Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance coverage per the Company’s specified requirements Must be able to lift products from 25lb to 50lb on a regular basis Must be punctual and have reliable automobile transportation
