POSITION TITLE:    Car Washer

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY: Under moderate supervision performs janitorial duties that involve cleaning and sanitizing the building and its grounds. Work may involve a variety of physical demands.  Ability to perform related tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Cleans, washes, vacuums, polishes New, Used and Customer Cars.
• Ability to perform physical labor such as moving furniture and equipment, lifting, climbing ladders, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions concerning various chemicals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

REASONING ABILITY: 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
