    Merchandise Designer (Fashion Manufacturing)– What You Will Do

    You will prepare apparel merchandise designs (mostly for t-shirt and hats), working on the Apparel Design team. You will:

    • Create original graphic designs and artwork for fashion apparel for every retail season (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter), focusing on menswear
    • Research and interpret emerging trends and best practices to create seasonal designs that follow brand aesthetic
    • Prepare Tech Pack and artwork packages and specifications for manufacturing production
    • Collaborate with design department to ensure quality control and accuracy of designs
    • Prioritize multiple design projects while meeting tight deadlines

    Merchandise Designer (Fashion Manufacturing) – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

    • You are tech-savvy and live in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)
    • You have experience in designing graphics and artwork for apparel (creating graphics for t-shirts, sweatshirts, clothing, hats) and understand technical aspects of screen printing and apparel manufacturing
    • You are self-directed and driving your own career, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
    • Can provide an updated professional portfolio of your past work, including original designs, Tech Packs, and garment specifications
    • Ability to work hybrid, Monday through Thursday in office in Dallas, Texas

    Merchandise Designer (Fashion Manufacturing) – You Might Have

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Costume Design, or related field of study
    • Experience as an apparel merchandise designer for menswear and hats
    • Experience with eCommerce fashion merchandise

    Compensation $65,000 to $69,000, depending on experience.

    This role is a hybrid role, Monday through Thursday in office with the team and Friday work from home.
