Job Summary The Merchandise Manager oversees the strategic planning, development and execution of M1 Concourse’s merchandise and retail initiatives. Collaborates with leadership and marketing to design, select and present products that strengthen the company’s brand, appeal to customers and drive revenue. Analyzes sales data, customer feedback and market trends to evaluate product performance, identifies new opportunities and drive informed purchasing and pricing decisions. Manages vendor relationships, negotiates favorable terms and maintains optimal inventory levels across multiple merchandise locations. Provides guidance to team members, promotes collaboration and ensures high-quality merchandising standards. Ensures operational excellence and fosters a superior customer experience. Represents M1 Concourse with the highest level of professionalism and decorum.

Job Responsibilities

Analyzes sales data, customer feedback and market trends to assess the product performance.

Collaborates with the leadership and marketing to design / select merchandise that supports the company brand, congruent with messaging, attracts customers and drive sales.

Collaborates with the leadership and marketing to design and implement appealing displays and layouts that supports the company brand, congruent with messaging, attracts customers and drive sales.

Conducts market research to identify potential new merchandise categories and opportunities.

Conducts pricing analysis and adjusts strategies based on market trends and customer demand.

Determines competitive pricing strategies that balance profitability and market positioning.

Develops and executes merchandise strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

Ensures merchandise is presented in an organized and visually appealing manner.

Establishes and maintains strong relationships with suppliers.

Establishes relationships with suppliers, negotiates terms and maintains vendor agreements.

Identifies opportunities for expanding or adjusting the merchandise selection based on consumer demand.

Implements efficient inventory control measures, including stock rotation and clearance strategies.

Maintains optimal inventory levels while minimizing overstock or understock situations.

Manages employees within operational purview.

Manages multiple M1 Concourse Merchandise locations and venues.

Monitors inventory turnover, tracks product demand and make informed purchasing decisions.

Monitors vendor performance, quality and delivery timelines.

Negotiates favorable terms for product procurement.

Provides guidance, sets performance expectations and ensures the team members supporting merchandise operations work collaboratively and towards a common purpose.

Sources, evaluates and selects products or collections for the retail store or e-commerce platform.

Stays informed about industry trends, consumer preferences and emerging products.
