About the Role:
Join Willis Furniture Company as a Merchandising Manager and play a key role in shaping our product offerings! This exciting position allows you to combine your passion for design and retail to enhance our customers' shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Analyze market trends and customer preferences to inform product selection.
Collaborate with ownership/management to curate showroom displays and promotions.
Oversee visual merchandising to ensure an appealing store presentation.
Create, process, and monitor special orders. Review special orders with sales staff to ensure accuracy prior to processing.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with ownership for timely stock replenishment.
Train and inform sales staff on vendor related updates ie. pricing, lead times, new product lines.
Prepare reports on product sales and merchandising initiatives for management review.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in retail merchandising or procurement preferred.
Proven track record of driving sales through effective merchandising strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in merchandising software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
