Candidates should be independent thinkers capable of analyzing requirements, extracting data for analysis, and developing algorithms and tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, Computational Biology or a closely related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Ability to work in a fun, collaborative team environment
• Machine Learning and Python experience (a plus)
• Passion for solving complex data engineering and modeling tasks
• Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and schema normalization techniques

Skills that are also valuable:

• Expertise in designing and implementing efficient algorithms
• Experience in high performance computing
• Expertise with UNIX (Linux) and Spark
• Experience with Deep Learning Neural Network building with framework such as Tensorflow or PyTorch
