    In this role you will have the opportunity to:

    Purpose:

    In addition, you will perform the various tasks necessary to assemble micro-electronic assemblies for production. This job performs the standard assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, and installation steps for the components required in production line assemblies.

    You are responsible for:

    • This position will set up and run K&S ICONN Wire bonders, Dage and West Bond wire pull equipment. In addition,you will set up and run Besi Datacon 2200 and Micron Die Attach machines, Topaz Chip Shooter, Asymtek epoxy dispense, EKRA and DEK printers.
    • Clean PCB's and assemblies throughout process and after completion Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices.
    • Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Performs a wide variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on assemblies.
    • Populate PCB's from Work Instructions and Assembly Drawings / Bills of Material
    • Prepares assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and following blueprint specifications
    • Using assembly drawings and related paperwork (Router, Pick List, bill of material) to accompany parts through production flow
    • Using written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or reassemble units
    • Performs basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies
    • Technical Knowledge of Die attach, Wire bond, Epoxy Dispense, Flipchip, Wafer Die Eject, Die Attach Films, Material Handling Loaders and Unloaders, Conveyors, Screen and Stencil Printing, Chip Shooter/Passive Component Attach
    • Maintains daily records and periodically summarizes activities
    • May occasionally be required to work overtime
    • Interface with Engineers and Program Managers
    • Ability to operate and multi-task between 2 to 3 machines
    • Knowledge of scope equipment inherent in this position
    • Process transactions on Oracle (ERP) system

    Responsibility Statement:

    Assembles components by positioning parts and sub-assemblies examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies. Clean PCB's and assemblies throughout process and after completion Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards other duties as assigned Performs a wide variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies. Populate PCB's from Work Instructions and Assembly Drawings / Bills of Material Prepares assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and following blueprint specifications Skilled at performing two or three of the following job duties; Board Mount; Solder SMT components on PCB's; Assemble PCB's into housings; Epoxy sealing of completed assemblies; Wire bonding; Sub Attach or Die Attach.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

    • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
    • 1-2(+) years of wire bond experience
    • Ability to multi-task concurrently
    • Good hand and eye coordination
    • Ability to read assembly drawings
    • Ability to work with general instruction on daily activities
    • Basic reading writing in English
    • Basic computer knowledge
    • Must be willing to work overtime on Saturdays when needed

    *This is a 2nd shift position - hours are 2:00p - 10:30p Monday-Friday
