  • Responsibilities

    The M&A Advisor will oversee the full transaction lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities to closing deals and managing post-acquisition operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with financial acumen, strong negotiation skills, and some exposure to M&A or related fields. Responsibilities: • Sourcing Opportunities: Identify businesses for sale through market research, networking, and industry outreach. • Underwriting: Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and valuations to assess potential acquisitions. • Financing: Secure debt and/or equity financing by working with banks, private equity firms, or other capital sources. • Transaction Coordination: Manage deal processes, including negotiations, legal documentation, and stakeholder communications. • Closing: Ensure smooth transaction finalization, meeting all terms and compliance requirements. • Business Management: Post-acquisition, guide or manage the integration and optimization of acquired businesses. • Exit Strategy: Plan and execute business sales to maximize stakeholder value through strategic market positioning. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; an advanced degree is a plus, but not required. • Some experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or related fields (open to candidates with transferable skills). • Basic financial modeling, valuation, and analytical abilities. • Ability to build relationships with business owners, investors, or lenders. • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. • Understanding of M&A transaction processes and regulations is a plus. • Comfortable working independently in a results-oriented environment. • Familiarity with tools like Excel or financial platforms is preferred. Preferred Skills • Emerging network of M&A or business contacts. • Certifications like CFA or CPA are beneficial but not required. Compensation: $100,000+
