We are seeking a high-performing M&A Analyst to support strategic growth initiatives within the fast-growing dental services sector. The Analyst will work closely with the VP of M&A on evaluating potential acquisitions, executing due diligence, and supporting transaction execution. This role offers exposure to complex transactions, collaboration with senior leadership, and a hands-on learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build financial models, perform valuations, and execute due diligence for potential orthodontic, pediatric, and oral surgery acquisitions.
- Analyze historical and projected financials to identify risks, opportunities, and key value drivers.
- Prepare acquisition tearsheets, LOIs, board materials, lender materials, and other transaction documents.
- Manage diligence workstreams with third-party advisors (e.g., legal, QOE) and in-house teams (e.g., operations, finance).
- Collaborate on deal structures, integration strategies, and other transaction execution considerations.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform strategic and investment decisions.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development; experience in the DSO, dental, or healthcare sectors is strongly preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
