Behavioral Health Associate
Department: Clinical (The non-boring kind)
Reports to: Psych Nurse Practitioner (The pleasant kind)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) Needed

Our mental health practice needs a BHA to help us give our patients a 5-star experience all the time, every time!
How will you make a difference?
As our BHA, you will have the incredible honor to set the stage for each patient's visit. When our patients walk in feeling nervous or unwell, you will be the first person they see to reassure them they have made the right decision in choosing our practice, it really changes their day! Not only that, but it sets the expectation for the visit and lets our patients know their appointment will go as smooth as possible, allowing them to be receptive to our recommendations.
Your duties as a BHA will include:
Making sure patients feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door
Pleasantly answering questions and making appointments
Using your friendliest phone voice to answer calls and take messages
Assisting in opening and closing the office
Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Taking payments and applying them to patient accounts
Understanding insurance and explaining benefits
Back-office duties; rooming patients, taking vitals, ADHD testing, processing lab samples, and keeping the clinic flow moving.
Other duties may include: prior authorizations, ordering medications, ordering medical supplies, taking meeting minutes, and more.

Experience Needed:
This position requires someone who can draw blood. An undergraduate degree in Psychology is a plus, but not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning!
