    About The Position/Job Responsibilities Meridian is looking for an individual to perform full charge bookkeeper duties. The bookkeeper will be responsible for providing basic accounting for the organization including; invoice and payables& recievables processing, GL entry, reconciliations, and review. Job Requirements Manage daily accounting activities related to GL accounting, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets Perform monthly bank and credit card account reconciliations and daily store sales audits Maintain Fixed Asset schedule and record monthly depreciation Prepare general journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Enter account receipts from various sources such as credit cards processors, checks and cash Assist in preparation of various tax reporting requirements Communicate and resolve accounting discrepancies with customers and vendors Coordinate details for audits Assist with other duties as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years RECENT experience, performing full-charge bookkeeper duties Previous use of quick books is required Proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent customer service skills (internal and external) Ability to follow instructions as directed Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently Takes appropriate actions without being asked Able to handle multiple priorities, tasks, and simultaneous projects Be able to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects
