    Job Description

    Meridian MedLegal Management is a medical legal management company that provides administrative services to medical experts who offer their expert opinion on cases involved in litigation. Meridian is in its eleventh year of business and has built an excellent reputation in the medical legal industry. We began in Northern California and have experienced incredible growth and are now ready to expand our presence in Southern California. We are looking for the right candidate to help us with this exciting endeavor!

    The Account Executive position is unique and demands someone with a very special skill set. The position requires the Account Executive to work as a team with the Case Manager (in-house). The Case Manager handles the administrative portion of the case and is crucial to the success of the Account Executive. The main focus of the Account Executive position will be to introduce Meridian and its panel of experts to new clients as well as service and maintain our existing clients. Our clients consist of attorneys and their staff, as well as insurance companies and their representatives. The main duties of this position will be to meet with current and potential clients to introduce (or update) Meridian's panel of medical experts, solicit feedback on our services, hold presentations, and attend conferences and marketing functions. The Account Executive would spend approximately 60-65% of their time in the field, with the remainder of their time to be spent scheduling in-house meetings, following up on past meetings, communicating with the Case Manager, checking our data base for progress on potential cases, as well as prepare reports for and attend weekly sales meetings.

    The Account Executive must possess the following:

    • College Degree (legal background/experience is a plus)
    • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and physicians
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Availability for occasional travel as needed
    • Good driving record

    The Account Executive will be expected to:

    • Work closely with the Case Manager(s)
    • Communicate, meet and report weekly with the President/CEO
    • Communicate well with the physicians/experts
    • Address client issues/problems (in person if needed)
    • Meet quotas (certain number of weekly client visits and case quotas)
