JOB DESCRIPTION / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The initial entry into “Perimeter Safety” is to work in the field where certified deployments of MERIDIAN equipment are staged and set up. The company will train candidates in Field Operations where they will first learn how to drive trucks, tow trailers, and be trained on certified deployments. During the course of the first year of employment, the company will train individuals in Safety, Customer Service, Truck and Trailer Maintenance, Vehicle Safety Mitigation Planning, After Action Reporting, Sales Training, Social Media and Public Relations Preparation training, and CRM training.  A career in “Perimeter Safety” will equip candidates with all the skills necessary to successfully move within the company as it grows to be the standard for “Perimeter Safety Solutions” around the world.

MERIDIAN has extensive career opportunities once candidates are fully trained to either stay and enter management in the Rental Division or enter other parts of the organization in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Safety, Human Resources, or Government Contracting. MERIDIAN operates in all 50 states, as well as Canada and Australia.

Candidates should have at least a Community College diploma or College Degree and want to excel in an industry where Safety means making people, communities, and places safer. MERIDIAN products are deployed in various industry sectors from law enforcement, sporting stadiums, sporting franchises, live entertainment, concerts, military, outdoor events, college campuses, houses of worship and emergency management, and counter-terrorism. The diversity of the customer base ensures that the workplace is engaging and different, as each customer is unique with their needs in protecting people, communities, and places.

The starting salary will be commensurate with the entry-level in the industry and discussed when candidates enter the interview stage. There are a limited number of openings in 2021 with positions initially being available in Seattle, Washington; Ventura, California; Pasadena, Los Angeles, Santa Monica; and San Diego, Carlsbad, Oceanside.
