DESCRIPTION:

Are you a hard worker? Enjoy working on a team? Join our team as a Facilities Support at MERRILL Technologies Group. As a Part Time Facilities Support Team Member you will have flexibility in your scheduled hours and will work 24-30 hours per week, Monday - Through Friday. You will be responsible for general labor duties associated with facility sanitation and working with Maintenance staff. As a Facilities Support you are responsible for general labor duties associated with facility sanitation and working with Maintenance staff.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Duties include cleaning walls, floors, equipment or any other areas of the facility.
• Restocking cleaning supplies and maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Disposing of waste, managing coolant supplies and waste system, sanitation of facilities, and equipment maintenance of lighting, and other related areas of the facilities and ground duties and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Incumbents will assist maintenance mechanics with maintenance of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma
• One (1) to three (3) years of janitorial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Typically requires the ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions, such as the ability to read and follow label instructions on cleaning supplies and work independently.
• Good communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Punctual, reliable, well-organized, ability to relate well to others, dependable and willingness to cooperate and help others.
