    Our practice is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual to work as an administrative assistant in our mental health private practice. Our job is a fast-paced, exciting, and fun mental health counseling private practice serving Andover and the surrounding Merrimack Valley. We provide mental health treatment to individuals, families, and couples. We are a fun, friendly, and welcoming work environment that requires outgoing, empathetic, and kind staff who are understanding some of our client's personal and emotional challenges. Things can move quickly at our practice due to a large clientele, so finding administrative staff that is great at multitasking, are organized, have great attention to detail, and can manage various personalities is a must! Our patients often require support, and our administrative staff is our first line in helping to meet the needs of our clients. Good people skills are a must for this position. The ability to multitask and be highly detail-oriented is also very important. We ask that all candidates fill out the various questionnaires and assessments included in this ad. Responsibilities: • Answering phones • Responding to emails • Assessing/Evaluating the appropriateness of potential clients for the practice • Scheduling clients • Taking client payments • Managing the needs of the clinical staff (e.g., contacting collaterals, canceling appointments at the request of clinical staff, etc.) • Working Collaboratively with clinical staff, administrative staff, and billing team • Interacting with clients and ensuring all of their needs are met and they feel supported • Answering basic questions for both the patients and the staff • Working with the billing team to answer questions and provide clarifying information • Assessing the need for office policies and procedures in order to make things run more efficiently Qualifications: • Communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Good at multitasking • Organized • Responsive • Attention to Detail • Friendly • Outgoing • Patient • Kind Compensation: $40,000 - $43,000 yearly
