    Job Description

    Merry Maids of Savannah, Georgia is accepting resumes and letters of interest for the role of Operations Manager. This is a leadership position for a seasoned, self-starter manager with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service and time management skills, employee coaching/development skills, and strong leadership qualities.

    The right candidate must be available to work Monday thru Friday from 7:00A - 6:00P, and willing to put in extra time if needed. You must have a reliable automobile that can be used for work, a positive attitude, and an exceptional work ethic. This is a fast-paced environment, best suited for high energy individuals that are quick learners and have the ability to multitask.

    Responsibilities

    Open and close office Monday through Friday.

    Recruit, hire, and supervise a staff of 10+ line level employees.

    Ensure all operations are carried on in an efficient, cost-effective way.

    Oversee customer acquisition and customer retention through sales consultations and quality assurance inspections.

    Build customer relationships through exceptional customer service.

    Manage daily revenue close-outs and Accounts Receivable.

    Possess a strong can-do attitude and determined commitment to always get the job done.

    Manage budgets and forecasts.

    Find ways to increase quality of customer service.

    Skills and Abilities

    Proven work experience as a manager or similar role.

    Outstanding telephone skills - The ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, employees, potential customers, and applicants. Must be comfortable speaking in a confident manner that communicates a commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Must have experience dealing with customer inquiries, complaints, and problem resolution.

    Leadership ability - Understands the importance of reliability, determination, and displays a "can-do" attitude that sets the example for others. Does not require hands-on management by supervisor(s) and can be counted on to get the job done with excellence. Looks for opportunities to encourage and develop others. Looks for ways to grow the company. Looks for opportunities to take initiative. Is effective and efficient at providing instructions to others. Works hard, but also gets things done.

    Work Ethic - Understands the importance of reliability and loyalty. Works to set and achieve personal and company goals. Believes that work is work, and personal is personal. Does not conduct personal business during work hours, and when at work gives it their all. Does not waste work time on FaceBook, personal e-mail, personal phone calls, personal cell phone, etc.

    Attention To Detail (Quality of work) - Does the job right the first time. Has a keen attention to detail and thoroughness to complete responsibilities in a thorough and accurate manner. Doesn't require reminding and prompting from supervisor(s) to get the job done.

    Follows Company Standards and Expectations - Follows company guidelines with regards to policies, procedures and expectations and is able to communicate these effectively.

    Professionalism - Speaks, dresses, and portrays a confident and professional image (physically and verbally) that reflects the professional expectations of the company. Can communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner.

    Computer Skills - Is experienced and comfortable using a computer and internet-based programs such as e-mail, spreadsheets, calendars, CSM programs, HR programs, etc. Is accurate with typing, spelling, and enters data accurately.

    Attitude - Is upbeat, energetic, friendly, cheerful and displays a positive and determined attitude. Smiles. Has a good sense of humor, and is a pleasure to be around.

    Communication - Communicates in a thorough, concise and accurate manner with supervisors, co-workers and ownership. Provides reports and other information in a timely manner.

    Time Management - Has the skills to work efficiently, prioritizing responsibilities and managing time effectively to insure the job gets done.

    This individual must be able to pass a thorough background investigation, drug test, MVR check, and have a successful and progressive employment history.
