Assist Accountant to Process accounts payable with a flexible schedule to provide coverage in the accounting department. Exposure to AP helpful with an understanding of credits and debits. May help run reports for AP check run on the 10th and 25th each month. Review for accuracy and to assist with printing check requests generated by the lead accountant through cloud based software. May help double-check for any wires and auto pay ACHs through Online Banking and processing those into PL (ensuring all transactions in PL match online banking) May help check accounts for cleared online payments and process deposits into PL. Check work emails as needed for any accounting related requests and/or to verify AP payments. Respond to accounting requests as soon as possible for lead accountant and record the details.
