Messina is searching for a Solution Architect for our Client in Rosemont, IL.

Solution Architect:

• An IT Solution Architect provides our client with insight on how to realize the full potential of Oracle EBS, Salesforce and digital marketing solutions. A secondary mission will be to provide support for back office projects (ERP). The architect works closely with the business to define improvement initiatives, gather and document business requirements, define courses of action, and track projects to completion. He/she maintains a global, enterprise-wide viewpoint, supporting the mission and vision of the organization. The IT Solution Architect acts in the best interest of both IT and the business driving value for the company by enabling business process through the prudent use of technology.
• Specific Duties:
• Leverages skills and experience to drive technology initiatives that ensure maximum return on investment in: Marketing & Advertising, Digital Commerce (B2B/B2C/DTC eCommerce, rules-based CPQ) and Front Office Sales & Service.
• Recommends and designs technology solutions that positively shape and influence business processes, recommending courses of action to drive change and continuous improvement with a particular focus on CMS/DAM/PIM and analytics.
• Identify stakeholders and CX leaders to champion, evaluate, and communicate value and vision of customer experience
• Researches, analyzes, and understands changing technology; works with the Enterprise Architect to understand how technology may be best applied
• Conducts in-depth discovery to define need, document courses of action, and conduct business case and process analyses to identify, communicate, and implement solutions that drive value for the company.
• Establish standardized governance for decision making, communication and escalations which supports digital solutions.
• Gathers and documents thorough & well-defined business requirements and converts those into functional designs that achieve maximum value
• As needed, can serve as a project manager for IT-based solutions. Leads the Initiation, Planning, Execution, Quality Control, and Closeout activities.
• May engage other functional areas of the business as necessary. (e.g. procure-to-pay, quote-to-order workstreams)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Salesforce, Core Media (or similar CMS). Widen (or similar DAM) and Adobe Creative Cloud including full life cycle implementations.
• Proven experience architecting integrated Customer Experience solutions across hybrid and public clouds. Creation of solution introduction roadmaps & governance frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal negotiation, presentation communication skills. Well-developed collaboration and facilitation skills.
• Experience negotiating and managing 3rd party Customer Experience solution providers.
• Energetic self-starter with a consulting attitude and sense of ownership. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
• Project Management experience a plus
• ERP Experience with Oracle EBS or Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus.
