You will support management by making the customer experience perfect, creating a great shopping & working environment and achieving or exceeding your sales goals.  Essential Functions: Achieve / exceed personal, team and storewide sales and performance goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; recommending merchandise selections and helping to locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Provide the best shopping experience possible by effectively greeting, communicating with and assisting the customer in every need. Go beyond with customer service. Acquire and maintain knowledge of all products, product pricing, current sales and promotions, pricing and marketing standards. Actively participate in and adhere to on-the-job training. Build and maintain a solid customer following through building brand loyalty and excellent customer service. Perform sales and register transactions efficiently and confidently. Know how to deal with credit cards, cash, gift cards and general register functions. Maintain the look and feel of the selling floor. Restock and merchandise in line with Mestessa standards. Maintain visual merchandising in line with Mestessa branding standards. Keep a tidy workspace and a clean storefront. Assist management in visual merchandising, pricing, tagging and other store functions as needed. Actively assist management in loss prevention and control of other risks. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Contribute to positive employee relations through effective communication, teamwork and partnership with co-workers and the management team. Other duties as assigned/required. Job Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older High School diploma or equivalent preferred Must have 2 or more years of retail sales experience (handbag, fashion or luxury sales preferred) Must have the availability and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meets the demands of a retail business and retail consumer which may include weekdays, regular nights, weekends, holidays, long and short shifts between the dates of Nov 1, 2018 and Jan 6, 2019 Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Is able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English Contribute to positive employee relations through effective communication, teamwork and partnership with co-workers and the management team. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Be hands on, take initiative, enjoy working in a new brand environment and do not sit around Proficient computer understanding: POS Systems and Microsoft Office, math skills and phone skills Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time, including repetitive use of upper extremities.
